Erasmus+ project Data and AI Training for Agricultural Students (AITrain) No. 2025-1-RO01-KA220-VET-000349405 includes 6 partners from 4 countries (Romania, Turkey, Portugal and Cyprus) working collaboratively towards the following objectives:
Integrating AI and data science technologies into agricultural
vocational training.
Training agricultural technicians with high digital competence
through combined training.
Increasing the employability of young graduates and ensuring
that they work in better conditions.
Meeting the needs of businesses for a trained workforce.
Contributing to the successful digital transformation of
agriculture.
Contributing to the sustainability of agriculture.
Contributing to EU digitalization goals.

Project results:
Project result 1 – An e-learning platform for agricultural VET teachers to learn AI and data applications in agriculture.
Project result 2 – A self-learning e-guide for agricultural students to explore AI and data applications in agriculture.
Project result 3 – A competency framework that helps teachers integrate AI and data into agricultural education.
Project result 4 – An elective course introducing AI and data in agriculture, taught over one semester by trained teachers.
Project result 5 – A digital platform where teachers share practical examples and experiences in AI and data education.
